"This is an excellent place, the suite has been lovingly restored with a host of period features. It is set in beautiful quiet grounds.

The hosts also provided some breakfast items which was very thoughtful. They also were so welcoming to my dogs who stayed too. Magic!"

"If you are looking for a little piece of chilled out heaven - you've found it! My sisters and I stayed at the Old Stables at Moyglare Manor and absolutely loved every second! From Angela and Malcolm's warm welcome to the tastefully decorated and spacious bedrooms, modern wet room, and quirky living area, The Old Stables has all the charm of a cosy country getaway. Add to that a vibrant town 6 minutes away filled with wonderful restaurants, boutiques and a castle - sure, what more could you want.... Say hello to Henry, the English bull dog and Rupert the pug when you are there!"

"We had a fantastic time at Moyglare House, Angela and Spencer were excellent hosts and kindly showed us around the main house and explained a bit about the history of the estate. The accommodation is lovely, warm and clean and the kitchen is well equipped for anything you might need while you're there. There's plenty to do and see in the area (NUI Maynooth, Carton House, Castleton house and Kildare Castle are all nearby). We'd a brilliant stay and will hopefully be back some day!"

I live in a country house with a collection of art & furniture from the Irish Georgian periods and love traveling to explore what other cultures have to offer.

I am a furniture historian specialising in early nineteenth century Irish cabinetmakers. During the summer, I'm on the road nearly every weekend travelling all over Ireland, UK and Europe with our horses as my daughters compete in eventing competitions regularly.
