Welcome to Moyglare Manor Country House & Gardens
Moyglare Manor is a magnificent mid-eighteenth century country house, situated 1.5km north of Moyglare village on the borders of Counties Meath and Kildare, just 2km from Maynooth, County Kildare.
The property has undergoing extensive renovations to return the house to its former splendour. Moyglare House provides visitors with a taste of the many respective periods through which the house was remodelled; from 1764 to the Irish Regency Period. Each room is dressed in decorative antiques, furniture and paintings.
We offer luxury self-catering suites, perfect for relaxing retreats or a romantic weekend!
The house and gardens are also available as a film location.
The hosts also provided some breakfast items which was very thoughtful. They also were so welcoming to my dogs who stayed too. Magic!"

Angela & Malcolm Alexander
I live in a country house with a collection of art & furniture from the Irish Georgian periods and love traveling to explore what other cultures have to offer.
I am a furniture historian specialising in early nineteenth century Irish cabinetmakers. During the summer, I'm on the road nearly every weekend travelling all over Ireland, UK and Europe with our horses as my daughters compete in eventing competitions regularly.
